I assume you have a manual transmission?

1) Check whether fuse 15 under the dash is blown.

2) With the transmission in reverse, do you measure battery voltage at the bulb socket?

3) If the answer to (2) is no, then check the switch attached to Yel and Grn/Blk wires on the transmission:

Check the fuses next of course, then the switch. On a manual the switch is on the transmission; it is very simple with two wires. Unplug the switch and jumper the wires on the car side and see if the lights come on (remember the key must be on). If it's automatic the switch is at the shift lever and it's more complicated because the switch does other things but the concept is the same, jumper the wires and see if the lights come on. If you have power from the switch but not back at the bulbs and it's a hatchback, it's likely the wires broke where they flex every time the hatch is opened.

hey,
Check to see if your reverse bulbs are working. If thats not the case, its your reverse sensor.
