This distributor is from a B series engine so its slight different then yours but still set up the same. The red arrow points to the ignition coil.

The distributor has the cap, rotor, ignitor chip, and coil protector plate removed:

i dont have a 2nd person to help me out right now and i also don't have a wire ill get back to you guys to see if it spins when my friend gets out of work





wow this thing is striped isn't it......

so i tried turning it on with the cup off and it turned but slowly is it suppose to be slow or fast?

It turns at half the speed of the crank shaft, which is rather slow when you're just using the starter. If it turns at all, that means the timing belt is not stripped.

The spring on top of the coil should not be bent like that. Look at the cap where it meets it to see if it has been sparking to the side.

The tip of the rotor is normally burned like that. What you're looking for is cracks or burns in the plastic parts. The screw is totally stripped. You'll need to get that screw out to replace the rotor or the coil.

any tips on how to remove the striped screw?

damn i might just get the whole part from a honda/acura used part store
