Default 1998 civic no crank no power

Hi all. New here. Recently purchased a 98 civic. Had a quick disconnect steering wheel the horn button was not hooked up, instead was hooked up to a switch which was installed under the steering whee. I tried to hook up the wires to the steering wheel hub but when doing so, I touched the hot wire from the horn to the ignition switch and immediately turned my car off (had it running for AC, it’s hot here &#128514. When I attempted to start the car, there’s no power whatsoever when turning the key. But the lights and emergency signals work. Did I short out the ignition wiring harness out?? Thanks in advanced
