hooking up a horn
not really sure where to post this at...but im trying to hook a horn up to the steering wheel...i just recently got the honda...its a 94 ex...the previous owner had it running to a button under the dash but one wire was hook to the horn an the other wasnt going to anything...any help???...want to have it hooked back into the steering wheel
You'll want to trace the wires back from the button to see where the former owner spliced wires in. There is a bundle of wires that comes off the steering column. That's the most likely location where the wires were cut/spliced for that little mod.
One of those will be a ground and the other will be the power. What color are the wires?

That model has a cable reel (aka "clock spring") to link the electrical stuff on the steering wheel to the rest of the car. It is an expensive part so should it fail there is a tendency to jury-rig a horn button instead.
Also if the clock spring is indeed broken, the air bag will not work either.
