well, after popping the hood and taking a look, you guys were right on. A 7.5amp radio/backup fuse had blown. I have my fingers crossed that once I pick up a new one everything will work fine.

I checked all the fuses under the dash, so it never even crossed my mind to check under the hood after that.

Thanks again for your help.

ok, the fuse fixed it, but now I have a new problem! It's always something!

When I slide the new deck into the sleeve it came with, it just keeps sliding right on through! It clicks into place so it can't come back forward, but if you press on the front just slightly it slides right through the sleeve! What the hell! I'm so pissed!

did you pull the side tabs for the sleeve? I've Installed about 5 decks, and 3 Sub systems so I do know how to install , but theres no real way for us to help you without pictures.

Yeah, paste the picture links into the post using the "insert image" button.

Doesn't the radio have a snap-on face plate that prevents it from falling through the cage?

it does have a snap on face plate, but that doesn't really prevent it from falling through. It's kinda flimsy itself... just pops off if you push on the front of the radio.
