these tabs on each side of the radio are what hold the radio in place inside the cage. Push these tabs in toward the inside of the cage and put the radio back in. That should give the tabs enough pressure against the radio to click and stay in place.
I was hoping you'd show up soon!

After the tabs lock into place on the radio, then screw in the right and left bolts that firmly secure the rear of the radio to the center panel. Access to the left bolt first requires removal of the gray control box for the blower, circulation, and heat controls.

man, I give up.

I finally got the radio installed correctly, put all the panels back on, tested it out... works great.

So then I go to start my car... won't start! Damn!

Does the starter crank the engine but it won't fire up?

well might be a dead battery if you left the door open too long while you were working on it. I have had that happen to me a few times because I forgot to turn the dome light off.

hey don't take this the wrong way man, but I work in the industry and I have probably installed well over a hundred decks and several systems just this year, not counting the ones I have installed in previous years. So forgive me if I, as well as other people, still view you as a beginner to installing stereos. Just because you have done it a couple of times, does not always mean that you "know" what you are doing.

But what I mean by dont take this the wrong way is that I dont know what your installing abilities are, and I am not in any way trying to say that you are bad at it. I am just saying that in the big scheme of things, you are relatively inexperienced

Haha yah I was personally just joking. I guess it's hard to portray my sense of humor. Also I do know you're an installer, and I wouldn't second guess you in a second I'm just having fun.
