My civic keeps dying when at idle when car is hot or cold but fires back up, also when im driving the car cuts out momentarily then goes back to normal. I have a full tank of premium gas so iknow i have a full tank. This is my first civic and have noo clue where to begin, any suggestions?

A mechanic friend of mine was telling that using gas dryers are causing trouble with these injected vehicles. They are causing missing, stalling, etc. He recommended staying away from them completely.
