Default 98 civic head light hold-down wire

I was replacing my headlight and the hold-down wire broke... is there a fix for that? will the headlight stay even with just the weather strip lining?

go to www.hondapartsunlimited.com and see for your yr model etc what all the parts are for the headlights. I checked out for both the 2 Dr ex and the 4 Dr ex and both of them are held down by 2 bolts on the top, not by some tie down wire. can you verify this?

^^yea idk what wire you're referring to, they're definitely bolted on. or are you talking about the bulb itself you and when you changed the bulb you broke the bracket the holds on the bulb?

I think he's referring to the wire that actually holds the bulb securely in the headlight assembly. I'm sure a quick stroll through a junkyard would be an easy way to find afew
