is it on like a 99civic?

i know my 99civic has 2 steel hoses around the intake manifold going around the valve cover, one is a air breather hose and the other is something with radiator fluid going thru it...

they are just small hoses, they could be split or they could just need a new hose clamp to tighten them to the metal tubes. i think stock just uses those weak spring clamps. personaly i hate those! i go with the bolt type clamps! that way you know its tight!

Yes there is supposed to be antifreeze in there. It preheats the air used at idle a little to make the engine idle better in cold weather.

Sounds like you need a new hose. I suggest replacing all the little water hoses that run around the manifold while you're at it.
