hey guys, once in awile when i go to start my car it sounds like its flooded, like it dosent want to start. i looked here on forums and read up on the fuel pump a little bit, but the thing is, it dose it radndomly, not all the time. anyone have any idead what else it could be?

You likely have a faulty fuel system (fuel filter, pump, or main relay) or ignition system (coil or igniter unit).

When the engine won't start, does the fuel pump fail to activate? You can determine by listening for the low humming sound of the pump for a few seconds after you turn the ignition key to ON but don't crank the engine.

If the pump is fine, then check for spark at the plugs.
