Clutch bracket weld tip

Hi how do i orientate a weld for this? it seems that getting a used bracket will just break like all the other brackets...

You didn't say what year you have, but in many cases you can still order a new one from a dealer and they're not terribly expensive.

Hi thanks for the reply,
Its a 86 Si hatch, not sure how much a new bracket is but wouldn't a recall cover this?

is the bracket off the 86 to 88 integra renforced different? be good to get a junk part?
