Default code P1753 how to fix it?

I have a 2001 civic with the following problem, "D" flashes in instrument panel and my scanner pulls a P1753 code.I know that it has something to do with the torque convertor circuit. Is this something that is internal? or is it an external solenoid ? Any help you can provide would be great as I am trying to get the car back on the road.

I fixed mine. I took the Shift Solenoid from below the distributor and sprayed it with carb cleaner, I didn't have an air compressor but I blew it out and kept cleaning. I put it back on and the reset the ECU (I have done that many times) AND NO MORE FLASHING D4!!!!! If anyone needs a solution or fix for a flashing D4, they need to try this one first!!
