Default Couple of Questions...

O'kay, Specs: 2001 Civic EX 1.7 SOHC V-Tec MT, Cold Air Intake, Aftermarket headers, downpipe, cat., and catback. First off, the guy who installed my exhaust was obviously retarded because it is beating the crap out of the bottom side of my car, any suggestions here? Also, I read something about fooling the 2nd O2 sensor with a spark plug but I can't find the post now. Can anyone help me with this? Any suggestions would be great, Thanks.

you mean that he didn't fit the exhaust on the hangers right? Is it rubbing against the rear bumber and burning it? Get the rear up on jacks and re hang it better, you can get some new rubber hangers need be if thats the case.

Why would u want to fool your o2 sensor? I assume u have a cat-converter on.

No, it is rubbing like under the passenger floorboard and I want to fool the o2 censor because i need to get the car inspected. I have a "high flow" cat converter and the honda dealership hooked it up to the computer and it read as having no exhaust but a mechanic said that is because the computer is not happy with the o2 readings.
