D15b7 swap help plz!
hey everyone, its been a while for me. got a new project going. i have a 89 civic hatch currently with the d15b2
i have in my hands a d15b7 with aftermarket fuel rail, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, and a stage 2 ACT clutch. i was just curious if anyone knows of a good website to search for performance parts such as a cam, turbo kit, etc. also any suggestion on how much to boost on stock internals without risking the motor itself. all help and tips are very much appreciated. thank you!!

hey there is is tons and tons of places to get performance parts for haonda. It all depends on your budget.
cams can get quite costly depending on brand and size and such, if you have a tight budget look into deltacam.com the do regrinds and offer 2 different durations i think 260 a street cam which is mild wont need tuned, and a 272 cam for turbo and stuff like that but will need tuned to idle, cause it will have a choppy idle about 125 shipped there work done and shipped back.
turbo its are endless also. if you have the money buy a decent set up, or if on a low budget piece one together with a eclispse or talon tubo intercooler and injectors, a fule pump ect....there is actually a list on this site do a search on here for it.
and im not totaly sure on how much is safe but im saying between 5-7psi should be fine.
What I can tell you that is be patient do lots and lots and lots of research on turbos before you slap one on your car and blow it up. Reseach and patients is the key word here. Sit down and decide what realistic goals you have for the car and go from there. Good luck
