Hey guys,

I have a EM2 that ive been working on. The issue is the car will sometimes die when i shift into neutral. Example, im approaching a stop light so ill shift into neutral and coast. While coasting, the dash lights flicker or the car will just die. I restart with no problem but i cant figure it out. I've replaced the air filter, cleaned the throttle body and Electronic air control valve on the throttle body, and replaced the PCV valve. No rough idle or any other issues. Any ideas or things i should check?

 

Sounds like a charging circuit/battery issue. I think that because of dash lights flickering. Also, I'd check grounds from engine to body and the negative from battery to body for corrosion.
