Default Gas Tank Location in Civic 02' LX

Just as the title says, I was wondering where the gas tank is located in a 2002 Honda Civic. I was going to be drilling some holes in the trunk of the car, and wanted to make sure I wasn't drilling into anything before I started.

I would appreciate any information, including possible diagrams or such showing what is located in the bank portion of the car. Thanks all.

Crawl under your car. The gas tank and gas lines should be clearly visible. No offense, but this direct information about your Civic is more valuable than any diagram.

WARNING: DO NOT DRILL ANY PART OF YOUR CAR UNLESS YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IS BEHIND IT.

You could hit fuel lines, brake lines, wires, sensors, the fuel tank, etc.
