Handbrake not gripping
A couple of weeks ago when I was on an incline I put on the handbrake and when it was time to go I slowly pressed the gas and before I can put down the handbrake the car started going forward. So I dropped the handbrake asap.
Then I pulled into a parking lot and tried testing the ebrake. When it's pulled up and I press the gas, the car can still go...
and today, when I pulled up a friend's driveway on a steep incline, I tried putting the car on ebrake, and the car started rolling back. I had to pull the brake really really high and hard, and that stopped the car from rolling.
My question is did I ruin my ebrake? Do I have to change some brakepads or something?

first jack the car up , take the tire off, tap the drum with a good hammer and pop the drum cover off, look at your rear pads for wear, they made need to be replaced.
and you can also adj the rear pads. if you dont know what your doing take it to a shop and they can tell you and also adj your rear brakes
