help
um ok, i bought my car with 95,000 miles on it, and i dont know if the timing belt has ever been changed. so my question is: how can i check if its been change and about how much does it cost to replace (shop vs myself)
thanks
thanks
u should change the Timing beltalong with water pump at 110,000 mile. and it really depends on the conditions if u live in either hot or cold area and drive u car all the time that is considered severe conditions that case change ur timing belt and water pump and dont delay unless u wanna damage ur engine.its pricey thought
i change mine two months ago and i found out that the old timing belt and water pump were somewhat new but i didnt want to risk it .
u need a professional mechanic since u seem to have zero knowledge as well as me.its about 300$ i paid 350$ canadian at the deal.if u know mechanic u can trust u might pay way less.good luck
