double check before you drill. Make sure your speakers aren't going to hit the window when it comes down. if you don't check it might rip the prongs right off your speaker. The way you are telling me is that both are connected to the stock speakers. So if you want to you could use the speaker wires that your new ones came with. Cut the plastic harness wrap both sets of wires up to the aftermarket ones and hook them up. Then you can still use the tweeters. it should work just like before but now you have aftermarket speakers and a pair of tweeters that work. For all intensive purposes they should work great. Thats how they were hooked up before the only difference was the stock ones had the connecters. Is this confusing??? its gets that way towards the bottom

are you saying connect the positive speaker wire and tweeter wire to the positive speaker end, and the negative speaker and tweeter wires to the negative end?

so this means i dont even need to figure out which wires are the tweeter wires and which are the speaker wires, just wrap the wires with the line on it to the other wires with a line on them

yea is it a safe bet just to mix all the ones that have that line on the wires, and then mix the ones that dont?

by the way, the wires that have the line running down it, is that positive or negative?
