Help me Im confused
Ok Here it goes. I recently traded my 89 hatch for a 99 sedan. When I got the sedan it has a D15b2 motor in it or some reason. Here is my problem. The power wire going to the starter was loose so we tightened up the bolt. Now it really doesnt have any problems starting. Now my problem is the battery wont stay charged. It has a brand new alternator on it. There are times while I am driving that all of the sudden the car will loose power and all the lights will start to dim and the heater will not blow as hard. But then I can hit a bump in the road and all of a sudden everything comes back. My first guess was it is a loose wire or a wire that is grounded but we have searched the car up and down and cannot find anything. So I wondering if you guys could give some suggestions.
Thanks,
Jacob

I think your on the right track looking for a loose connector or connection. I would recommend that you focus on all alternator and battery connections and connectors/wires in between.
You should check to see if the alternator belt is adjusted properly as well. it may be too tight or too loose. I also have a problem with a draining battery and it turned out to be my trunk light, which would stay on regardless of trunk position, so i disconnected it.
