Default Knocking when I turn the wheel

Hi Guys-

When I turn the wheel, especially a hard turn, I heard a loud knocking.

Help please!

When you turn left/right, or both? What side does the noise come from? Most likely an axle going bad.

Do you still hear it turning the wheel with the car sitting still, or only while it is moving?

Default CV Axle issue

Hi Guys-

Thanks sooo much for the info.

How much would something like replacing the CV axle (Front left) cost?

Is it best to buy the part and have them out it on?

If you're paying a shop have them supply the part and you have a guarantee on the whole job. If something goes wrong with a part you bring, you would need to pay labor all over to replace it again.

Axle replacement is a straightforward DIY job if you have the tools for the large nuts and bolts involved.

hi sir. I have a similar problem with my steering wheel. Everytime i turn the wheel, i can hear a noise (sounds like a tin). I have already bleed all the transmission fluid, change the swing arm bushing, unfortunately, the noise is still there. Its really quite expensive going in and out of the shop, where they really can detect what's the problem really is. Now i doubt, it might be the tin cover of the disc brake banging with something. please help
