I haven;t looked at mine in a while but I really don't remember it coming apart like that. See Honda lists it all as one part. I would guess that someone had to drop the trans, got lazy, and didn't want to remove the roll pin (#28) the right way

ya i just noticed that........ man thats realy messed up!!!!!!! LOL
i was hoping it was just a bolt and maybe bracket..... now that i know its NOT SUPOSED to come apart....

i found one on ebay from a seller ive bought quite a few parts from before that has the whole shifter... about 40 bucks if no one else bids.... but i would have the whole shifter thing which ya never know what else could be messed up as soon as i swap the old one out
