i just did a swap on my 93 cx hatchbak from a d15 i put a d16 vtek head after driving for 2 weeks im getting conpression inside my colant water bottle someone told me it was the termostat so i changed it but getting wite smoke out tailpipe can someone help

 

conpression in colant? Do you have oil in the coolant overflow? White smoke usually means you are burning coolant which leads me to believe your head gasket is bad, and if you do have oil in your overflow you have a blown head gasket for sure.

 

did you have the head milled to make sure you had a sure flat surface
?? also pull the valve cover off and double check the toque on the head bolts.

what does the oil cap look like?
