Motor swap/keeping a/c
This has been asked by a million people, and I have yet to find any real answers. My car is a 2000 Hatch, and the motor is a B18b1 LS swap.
I need to know what to get for a/c. The car had it once but it has been removed, so im putting it back in.
Do I buy a kit for an EK civic, or do I buy a kit for an Integra? Someone has to actually know.

All the parts except the compressor attach to the body of the car not the engine-- so you would use Civic parts.
The two cars did use different compressors, though it appears that the mounting pattern is the same. So if that really is the case (sorry I can't give an absolutely definitive answer) you'd use a Civic (type TRS090) compressor too. Do you have already have the engine mount with 4 holes to mount the compressor?

I have the mount for the motor, and the rest of the a/c from an Integra. It came off a car with the same motor. I went ahead and got it since it was only $20 bucks for the entire integra a/c.
I didnt know if I could use the integra compressor and motor mount?

You can use the Acura compressor. You may need to modify the hoses if you have to use a Civic condenser, etc. and the Civic hoses won't mate with the compressor you have. That would be quite simple as you would just get a hose shop to crimp new hose onto the existing metal ends so you end up with Civic on the car end and Acura on the compressor end.
You wouldnt happen to know of a DIY or diagram for installing would you? I have a guy that will put it all on and charge it for $200. But if its going to need some fabrication done I can probly get it done at work and put it on myself.
