Default Radio Bezel for a 2000 Honda civic LX

Hey there i hope somebody can help me with this one, i read a couple of forums on this but i have a different situation, usually people have the 96-98 honda civic and they want to put in the radio bezel for the 99-00 honda civic, and i know is a whole process to do this mod, BUT i have a 2000 honda civic LX, but my radio bezel looks like the one from the 96-98 with the little clock and everything, now my question is, since my civic is from the year 2000 if i want to replace the radio bezel with the 2000 honda civic bezel, i am still going to have to make all this mods? or just plug in and thats it? thank you.

It depends on the heater core, really. If someone put a 96-98 style heater core with that center console, you would have to swap both to the 99-00 style.

So the ket point is to look how the heater core looks like? i know it have this little cable that comes from it, but i am not sure if that 00 model have it, my car year it is 2000, but i live in Brazil, so maybe is a 2000 honda civic but really is in the body of a 96-98 model because of that older radio bezel? i am going to remove the radio bezel this weekend to see how it looks, and i'll take some pictures and post here, so you guys can take a look and tell me what you think , once again thank you very much.

The trick is that the 96-98 was cable operated, but the 99-00 was electronic. But that's the USDM Civic. I'm not sure if they are different in Brazil. We will need pictures for more information.
