Default setting the timing 1997 civic

I'm going to reset the timing on my civic. The manual says to put a paper clip or jumper into a wiring harness underneath the passenger side kickplate. I have two harnesses. One is in its own holder with two wires coming out of it and the other has multiple wires coming out of it. Which one do I jumper?

The connector you are looking for is inside the car under the passenger side dash in the right corner. It seems as though you have found it...in a green rubber holder. The connector has only two wires coming out of it, stick the paper clip in this one. I don't know if your manual has the correct specs, but base timing is 12 degrees BTDC (plus or minus 2 degrees).
