my third gear grinds whenever i try to speed up quickly from first to second then once i get to third i gotta move into third slowly so it won't grind.

would could be a cause for this as i would like to get this fixed asap.


(and i know how to drive a standard. i dont grind gears)

 

sounds to me like the syncronisers are goin bad probaly should save up for a new tranny
it wont go out soon but it will start jumping outta gear and wont stay in after awhile

 

When was the last time you replaced or checked the trans oil?
