throttle body fitting confusion

idk what a fitv is! where does the non throttle body end go? oh! and its a b20b4 so its from like 97-00 crv. i think...

my crv manual said the fitv was only necessary on the automatic trans equipped crv's. something tells me it wasnt even hooked up to begin with. guess i'll know if it idles like crap or hemmohrages coolant.
