What should alternator volts be?

I have a 99 dx with an Apexi turbo timer. The volts usually hang around 13.6-13.9 according to the display. Should it be higher like 14.5v? Also, at idle it drops to 12.5 or so.

13.8 is the proper voltage, so your voltage is good.
