Is the dash charge light ON?

Note that most of your CEL codes are for functions protected by fuse 15 (VSS controls the speedometer; you previously had the ELD code, and codes 41 and 65 are for both O2 sensors).

So you uncoupled the orange connector and then recoupled it, and now the engine starts fine and fuse 44 doesn't blow? If so, does this indicate that the short was occurring within the orange connector itself?
