and agree too i had an automatic as my first civic and traded not too long ago for a stick its way way better to drive, and i was too noob to go thru with a swap on my other car too... id say trade for a stick.

another Ef..good to hear.

I would keep the automatic for now, because sooner or later, you are gunna wanna swap engines. Trust me....it will happen..

just be careful what you buy. i was like you not to long ago and bought all the cool parts (or at least the parts i thought were cool) on ebay, left them on for a year and went back to stock.

Some sites to check out for your ef though..

fourthgenhatch.net - this site has some of the best Tutorials i have seen.

http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=1508680 Every thing you would ever need to know about your car.

I am planning on switching the transmission at some point to a manual but right now I'm working on smaller projects on the car. I don't want to buy a new car just for the tranny. I'd much rather do the work myself. I like having projects. It makes it more fun once everything is completed.
