I've seen compressed CO2 sprayed onto the intake...it was VERY cold to the touch on a running engine

Idk ive heard that when metal goes from REALLY HOT to REALLY cold it cracks........im sure sprayin ur IM isnt a great idea. I was thinkin about rigging somethin like that CYRO2 system to my intercooler.........that might work.

i heard the the ford lightning (if they ever make it again) is going to have a set up that has a tank of compressed air that is cooled off by the a/c under the hood. Once it is done charging and cooling a green light comes on inside and after you put the pedal on the floor the cold air is pumped into the intake. They say that the boost is similar to the feeling NO2 (unlikely but who knows)

It is not worth the trouble.

Air moves through your intake far too quickly for this to affect it enough to warrent all the effort. Your looking at 2 maybe 3hp at most.
