So what type of Oil should i use when i install my turbo.? (Greddy 19T).......good ol 10W30? Synthetic? ive got no idea.

sorry i am still learing about turbos, cant help you.

 

How many miles are on your motor? Previously I used Valvoline full synthetic, but recently switched to Valvoline Max Life full synthetic 10W30, it's for engines over 75 k. I would recomend it, it protects the seals, and you still have the advantage of the full syn. Im sure it will work perfectly with the addition of your newly bought turbo.

 

synthetic. Mobil1 or Royal Purple is good over the counter, or Amsoil by mail-order. oil is essential for both turbo and engine life. stick with the best.

 

why didn't you mention valvoline? I always thought valvo were quality.

 

not bad, but for performance, i like to stick to the 5 buck a quart and up stuff. and Pennzoil is garbage. Valvoline is better though.

 

I'd say Amsoil or Mobil1 (full synthetic).
