Default 2007 Honda Civic LX tire replacement question

I have about 55,000 miles on my Civic and need to replace my stock tires. (I have the Bridgestone Turanza p205/55r16 89H on their now.)

I not need anything super awesome. I just drive to work, school, etc. No racing, or anything like that.

I was looking at the Goodyear RS-A on online tires and can get them for 66 each, and my dealer charges me 20 per tire to install them.

Does this sound like a good deal?

Do I need to spend the money to buy what I had on their before, or would I be ok going with a cheaper tire?

Any other suggestions, or places to get a good deal?

Thanks!

as long as the tire is reliable which good year is your fine, also look into kelly tires its owned by Goodyear so you know Goodyear wouldn't put its name on a bad product

you do not need to get the same exact tires. as long as the tire size is the same its fine. go cheaper if you want as long as they are what you want

Thanks! How important is the speed rating? I have the 89H. Do I need to keep the speed rating the same?

Also does anyone have any suggestions on what a good tire to put on my 2007 Civic LX 4 Door? The only tires I've ever had are the OEM Bridgestone.

The guy at discount tire said the michelin is a much better tire, any truth to that?

i would personally keep the speed rating the same or better than the tires you had. Michelin makes good tires so they should be good. Also check out tirerack.com they do tests and people leave their reviews on the tires. I'm using General Altimax HP tires right now good reviews on that site and i think its pretty good for the price. A tire i recommend is the bridgestone potenzas re960

I can get a set of Goodyear Triple Threads for 95 bucks per tire.

how does that sound? Is it worth it?
