Front strut
I just bought my 01 civic dx a few weeks ago, i use to drive a 96 neon with lots of mods but the engine blew and it wasnt worth fixing so i got this.
My question is it had a front strut bar that appears will fit on my civic, however i read the 'do it yourself' forum and it wasnt the same kind. It doesnt wrap around with the 2 bolts it directly connects to the top of the shock. Will it work?
Also is it worth putting it on the front and not the back?
Edit****
I'll be honest the neon was a piece of **** i was tricked into buying it thinking it was better than it was and then i believe the engine seized but instead of investigating it i said F*&& it and i went to honda and picked this up because i wanted something reliable andit was in my price range, plus ......i mean come on........how can you not want a honda

seems it might put stress where you dont want it. on the top of the strut like that would make the the strut move back and forth more. and weall know what happenes if you bend metal back and forth.....squeek...squeek...snap!! but i honestly dont know, i just hate to see any thread with no answers. why not install it and see how it feels? wtf
