Default help?

i have noticed that in the back my tires wont "tuck" very well. they will hit the fender instead. tonight they TUCKED alright when i hit a pothole going 85. its riding like a tank right now because the tire is like jammed up inside there and hitting the fender. what should i do? i guess just jack it up and hope it goes back normal? and what about fender rolling? anybody have this done? should i get it done?

What size tires are you running? (ie. 205/45R17)
Do you have coilovers, non coilovers?
Do you have a camber kit?

ouch... that's weird that only the back is messed up, I would think the front would take most of the impact.

I'd jack it up, pull the wheel off, and just take a look at everything... I hope nothing's bent.

205/40/17....yes i have a camber kit. i really hope nothing is messed up too. im about to check it out. ---well, just went in the garage and jacked it up without taking the tire off and about 10 seconds of it jacked up there was a lpud popping noise....like the spring coming un compressed or something....i dunno but i looked at everything and didnt see anything out of the ordinary. the only thing was my bumpstops are jammed in the dust boot but i dont think that matters. i lowered the car and now it is back to the height i had it set at....1 finger between the tire and fender....so what could it have been? im assuming everything is ok.

Well, it could have been that when you lowered the car before that one of the rear springs wasn't sitting properly. I have to worry about the with my coilovers. It's seems that if I don't check the spring will flop on an angle with jacked up.

I know what you're talking about, I've heard of that happening to people, where the spring just rotates and gets "unseated" from the perch. but that can't really happen with the ground control coilovers, the springs are machined so they are totally flat on the ends. anyway I don't know what it could have been but I'm glad it's ok

sounds like prolly the only thing that may be messed up is alignment, u can prolly get it checked for free at ur local dealership, just ask to go over the slip test. if u want to prevent that from happening again, fender rolling would prolly be a good idea. its usually cheaper to find someone with a real fender roller(not a baseball bat...) and have them do it. u'll prolly crack a lilpaint on the fender but nothing some touch up paint cant handle.
