Default PLEASE HELP A NOOB

1993 Hatchback

I want to lower it using Tokico Illumina kit. Do I need a camber kit to go with that and could you tell me if Rage Enduro 15 inch rims with Dunlop 195/55 tires will fit it good? I'd really appreciate your responses thanks in advance

if I need a camber kit could you please give me a name of one that's affordable?

not totaly sure but i dont think you HAVE to have camber kit but they're highly recomended, something to do with the alignment and what not. If you can afford it then def do it, avoid headaches later

alright my car is dropped 4 inches, i did it last summer and what i did was Weapon R coilovers and Tokico Gas Struts. One year later i had to purchase new tires (Falken Ziex) because due to the drop i have a negative camber on my front wheels (negative camber means the wheel goes on a slant with the bottom of the wheel sticking out). So to answer your question do you need a camber kit...no, but is it smarter to get one and not have to replace you tires a year or two sooner than you should...yes. The camber kit i purchased and a very good one is a Skunk2 camber kit, which i purchased on ebay shipped to my house for $150.

If you don't go over 1.5-2" you may not have a problem with negative camber. Any more than that though and you will experience exactly what ImportTuner is talking about.
