and someone says that they looked into it, and if they cure them below 400, it should be ok, so find out if they do, then i guess go for it.

hey the place im going to is charging about 80 bucks a wheel for 15" rims.... do u think this places powder coat good and safe?

thats alot. i guess that ought to be a good place, but there is a local place that will do a SET for 125. i wouldnt let them do mine, but for 80 apiece, you could almost get a new set of wheels.

also my friend works with like helicopters etc... they powder coat there... he can do it for me.. but should i trust them? do u think a helicopter place would have the correct powder coating machine? ... or should i just go to the other place for 80 a wheel?

Powdercoating a wheel doesn't weaken it as far as I know. If this guy uses pizza ovens to heat the wheels, I'd get a slice or two from him, then find a REAL powdercoating company to do your wheels properly.
