Default Problem after lowering...

First, Iorder the eibach sport lowering springs that on the site say lowers car 1.6". So I'm thinking, ok that's a decent drop. Not too extreme but noticable. So the springs (along with tokico blue shocks) get here and on the box of the springs it says "lowers vehicle 1.7"- 2.3" and I'm thinking I don't know why it has a range because they're lowering springs but ok. So I put them on the car and I used to have about 3" of clearance and now I have... 1/2"?!?! The BIG PROBLEM is that because of this clearance, or lack thereof, if I take anything more than the slightest dip, or if I make a U-turn or right turn any faster than 5mph it rubs. It also rubs if I take a turn while braking or brake really hard. I haven't had the camber adjusted yet, so I'm figuring that should help some. I have 17x7 rims, with I believe a +38 offset. I got them from the tire rack so I assume they got me the right stuff. After I get the camber adjusted should I get the fenders rolled? I'm pretty sure, but not completely sure, that it's only rubbing on the outside.

Sorry, I forgot to say that the tire size is 205/40

What year is the car? It's hard to imagine a few mm being an issue. 17x7 +42, to 45 would be ideal if your rig is 1992 thru 1995.

Yeah...they're lowering springs. They don't have an exact measure of the drop because they all compress differently with different cars. Just get it aligned first and see if that helps at all.

camber from lowering won't cause the outside of the wheels to rub... negative camber (the kind you get from lowering)"pulls" the top of the wheel in towards the center of the car. I say get it aligned and see what happens. And do you have a body kit or something that you only had 3" of clearance to start with? My civic is sitting at stock height and stock bodywith at least 5" or 6" of clearance.
