Default suspension kits

sup everyone, havent been on for a while (everyone thinks "thank God"). But anyway, I've been looking for a suspension kit. Right now I'm looking at the Tokico Illumina system. Some people have told me to get a ground control coilover system and then get new shocks. What do you guys think?

What are you gonna be using the car for, and what kinda money are you looking at spending?

Like JHS said, Koni's and GC's are a beast setup for not too much $$$, but they aren't cheap either. And they really aren't the best if the car is a daily driver...

it is a daily driver, but i dont want the car to ride like sh*t, hence the reason im not getting just coilovers and only spending like 200$. I dont mind spending around 400-600 for suspension. but yea like i said, its a daily driver that i dont want to handle and ride bad. like ive heard about getting a coilover kit and then updating the shocks/struts because just getting a coilover kit will ride bad.

OK, well, if I was you, I would look at gettting a set of springs (Skunk2, H&R) and a set of shocks (KYB, or whatever else fits your budget).

Keeps you under $600, and will be a nice comfy ride. But whatever you do, don't use the stock shocks. That would suck.

the tokico hpk setup, or the ilumina matched spring/shock packages are supposed to be pretty good, and relatively inexpensive ($450 for the HPK setup from most places)

that'll include everything you need to install (outside of LCA bolts)

I just had the Megan Coilover Damper Kit - Street Series installed a couple weeks ago. I am so pleased with the handlingthatI am even thinking of selling my 04 CBR RR (too many stupid drivers here in LA.) Anyway,I got the kit for $850. The ride is a bit bumpy but you can adjust the damper to make it comfortable for you. I also bought the camber kits for the front and rear. I can say that it was the best thing that I purchased for my car.
