RE: suspension work
First off, good call on the 4G hatch.
Second off, excellent call on the H&R's.
I would recommend some Tokico HP struts... they're a hell of a bargain if you shop eBay, and they're excellent dampers. Also, I've used them several times with H&R springs, so I can tell you that you'll be happy.
Tranny-wise, you can use any 4G 5-speed tranny. I would recommend an Si, since the closer gear ratios make for better acceleration. But if you're just commuting and whatnot, a DX or EX tranny will do just fine. You should be able to get one for $250 or less, depending on where you shop.
As for the rear disc swap, you can use the stock setup from a 90-93 Integra or a '91 CRX Si (pretty hard to find). They will bolt right up, and you will need the control arms, rotors, calipers, and e-brake lines from the Integra. It's also a good idea to get the brake booster and master cylinder too.
sohchonda.com has this excellent information for doing a front rotor swap on your 4G that will improve your braking power by leaps and bounds. Here's the 3-step gist:
1) Get some 93-96 Prelude VTEC rotors (Part No. 45251-SS0-A00)
2) Now get some 91-94 Accord Wagon Calipers (Part Nos. 45018-SM5-000RM and 45019-SM5-000RM)
3) Redrill the Prelude rotors to the 4x100 bolt pattern, get the 4g EX knuckles and hubs, and slap it all on there.
You can also use ITR, NSX or the 2 piston Legend calipers up front.
Second off, excellent call on the H&R's.
