Axle help
I was putting new struts in the civic and when I looked my axle boot was dislocated. i can not get it back together at all. Is it easy to put back together if i take the axle boot off?

If you pull the axle boot back you will see there are 3 "bearings" on the axle, they have to be aligned just right, usually have to have them all to close to their outmost spot (they slide in and out like 1/4") and push it in, it should og in relatively easy, then put the boot back on. You really should reband it I'd assume you don't have the tool or bands, which most people don't. You can do bands with a screwdriver, don't just zip tie it shut.
This actually just happened to me last week. Doing a front strut on a Honda Fit, when I pulled the strut I let the knucle hang which pulled the axle apart. Lucky me it was the passenger side so the axle only goes in the half shaft, so I pulled out the axle and reset it. If it was the driver's side I would've had to pull it from the trans which would've sucked!
