big problem
i was driving to work in 3rd and slowing down when a nasty grinding metal hitting metal noise started happening, it started slowing itself down by jerking. when it stopped the engine was still running, and turns over fine still. but when i was pushing it to the side of the road it would do this thing were the wheels would seize up and id have to push through it, it did this with the clutch in as well, is my tranny shot or is it my clutch? please help. thanks!!

Sounds like something is wrong between the trans and the motor, it seems like the clutch could be stuck but I've never heard of that. Did your trans make any noise prior? Any bearing noise with the clutch in or out? Sounds like a bearing may have taken a dump, such as your main shaft bearings. does it go in to gears?

Yea it does, but about a month ago when i would let my clutch out it would make a metalic noise and i was told it was somethin in the transmission but then it went away after a day and i didnt hear it again.
