So im in the middle of my swap and i dont know if i can use my old clutch i think its in pretty good shape but if it isnt and i have to buy a new one what should i be looking for. i have a stage 2 right now no clue what brand and its hard for a daily driver but i got used to it. i was thinking about an exedy stage 1 ? what do u guys recommend?

 

Ive never personally used an exedy that I know of. It depends what you have done to your car. I seriously doubt a stage 2 clutch would be that worn. If your boosted then I would recommend a stage 2 but a stage 1 should do the trick. People in my car usually go for ACT I think, some of them like it, some arnt used to the more force it takes to push the clutch in. So its mostly a preference deal. Look up, ACT, Clutchmasters, Exedy, and see what you then come up with.

 

Exedy makes a good product. Your engine is basically stock, right? You could back down to a stage 1

 

ok so i pulled the tranny today and the past owner threw in ACT i think its a stage 2 but im not sure but i couldnt get it out of the block cause i dont have the tools right now

 

I have an exedy, and I like it. Dont have anything but stock to compare it to, but it feels nice, never given me issues.
