Tranny Rebuild
i paid 1200 for my '95 ex (same generation) and they did a ****ty job. i had a prob with 3rd and 4th, all of a sudden those 2 same gears are griding again even though they were "replaced"..... take it to a reliable source. i took it to jacksonville'sredneck central and i got ripped off. i know how to drive stick shift too, they just didnt do ****, im sure they were justreplacing thebad gears and every thingwith old gears from junkyard honda transmissions that probably werent any better than mine...
oh btw, that 1200 included my stage 1 clutch ($275)purchase and installation... and they also replaced the enginerear main seal ($14)but its always easier on your walletto include the clutch labor cost when the tranny is already off the car.. so go figure the rebuild itself was around $900-$1000. if you dont already have aperformanceclutch i would go ahead and get one while the transmission is coming off the car to save you some money in labor in the end...
