is it really necessary to use Honda ATF as the manual says? I was using walmart high-mileage but i have noticed that it sucks.

However, I dont wanna have to buy transmission fluid from the dealer as I imagine its quite expensive.

What would you all recommend as the best value?

also has anyone ever done seafoam trans-tune?

 

no its not necessary, i used dexron/mercron III or any multi purpose trans fluid will be fine. about the seafoam trans tune, nope never have used it.
