Default Amp Not Powering On

Well i drove to my friends house with my subs sounding real good, got out, went inside for a while, came back out, turned my car on, and now my amp wont power on. I used a Voltage Meter and im getting a good 12.8 V to my amp, and my remote is getting the same volts when my car is on, so its not a power issue. I dont really wnat to take apart my dash to check if my RCA's are hooked up right, but could that be what the problem is? Could the RCAs affect the amp powering on or off? I also checked the fuse on my amp, and the fuse in the + wire to amp, and neither are blown. I'm out of ideas, do i just need a new amp or what?

well the amp is getting power, and the remote is telling it turn on when my car is on, but the green "Power" light isnt coming on, so tahts the problem, not really the subwoofer getting signal.

haha i was in a snowboarding accident last winter (bleeding brain + ECU for a week + month and a half outta school) and i lost my sense of smell! lol I'll have one of my friends help me out with the smell part. Naw i don't see a protection LED, but it probably is time for an upgrade, I got the amp used from one of my friends and i had to open it up and reground it to get it work, so theres probably other stuff wrong with it too. It's an Eclipse though and thats a good name, but i've been wanting to get a new Alpine amp for a while now, my amp is the last component of my system thats not Alpine.

Actaully it was something completely different. The fuse on the main power wire had some corrosion/dirt buildup and that wasnt a good enough connection to supply enough power. The voltmeter would read 12.8 volts for about 2 seconds, then it would go down to zero. I just had to to file down the fuse block and get the corrosion off it, then use a new fuse, and it was all good. Never seen that one before...
