Default Engine reving`

MMMMk, well, I'm not to brilliant when it comes to engine stuff.. so sorry if i sound retarded... anywho.. my car sounds like an f1 car when It's idleing at around 1k rpm, it spikes up to 1.5, back down, up, down... evnetually when it warms up past 1k rpm it will stop, and it wont do it above 1.2k rpms ish, I dont know how to fix it, but i've been told its a cheap part you can buy from wal mart..... they didnt know what it was called..

I'm thinking maybe 02 sensor possibly.. but... I dont know, any suggestions?

its probably your iacv is dirty on the firewall side of your intake manifold just take the two bolts off and clean the screen off with some carb cleaner or brake clean and should take care of your problem

or even easier - check you coolant level, could be a lack of coolant...

I really doubt it has anything to do with wires. Fast idle valve, either dirty or with air buble, fits the description perfectly.
