I've got $6000 and am about to order an H22 and boost it with a T3/T4 turbo kit. Any other modifications need to be done as in a clutch, tranny etc. Or can I pull it off with just the stock H22 and the turbo kit? Help ASAP

 

definatley upgrade the clutch to a stronger one. also you should do a compression test before boosting because h22's are good but somewhat fragile engines to boost. definatley get a full engine management system like hondata or neptune and a good dyno tune regardless of what you do

 

thanks man. but what about the internals on it. i read somewhere that you cant boost it without changing all the internals.

 

depending on the turbo...you can boost 6-8 psi safely on stock internals. a good rule of thumb is honda internals can safely handle twice the power they have stock and in some instances more than that.

i want this thing running safe, so what would i have to do to put a T3/T4 in it. How much would it cost to change the internals around? and what all would i have to get?
