Just did a fresh rebuild on a spare D16Z6, When it heats up it start to make a tick and i'm not sure if its a bearing in the bottom end. Warmed up the engine 3 time and did the same thing. Today i went through the head and reassembled and lashed vales again. Any ideas?

Stock rebuild kit. Reused crank and rods. New pistons, rings, bearings, all new gaskets. I didn't change anything in the head.

Found out the motor was built but never ran. I tore everything down and re-built it but I don't think the rods and rod caps were matched by the previous builder. So I'm going to tear it all down again and swap the connecting rods out of my other motor.
